Background Information

PAAF1(Proteasomal ATPase-associated factor 1) is also named as WDR71 and belongs to the WD repeat PAAF1/RPN14 family. It functions as a negative regulator of the proteasome by controlling the assembly/disassembly of the proteasome. PAAF1 has 3 isoforms produced by alternative splicing.
