  1x10^6 A431 cells were intracellularly stained with 0.25 ug PARN Recombinant monoclonal antibody (85408-5-RR, Clone:242993F5) and CoraLite®488-Conjugated Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L) (SA00013-2)(red), or 0.25 ug Isotype Control (blue). Cells were fixed and permeabilized with Transcription Factor Staining Buffer Kit (PF00011).

  Affinity and Kinetic Characterization of 85408-5-RR

  Biolayer interferometry (BLl) kinetic assays of 85408-5-RR against Human PARN were performed. The affinity constant is 96.9 pM.

Background Information

Poly(A)-specific ribonuclease (PARN) is a deadenylase enzyme that is present in mammalian cells. As a deadenylase, PARN interacts with the cap and the poly(A) tail of mRNA to control the length of the poly(A) tail and regulate gene expression. Therefore, it plays a role in mRNA degradation in the nucleus and cytoplasm.
