  WB analysis using 80435-8-RR

  Non-treated HSC-T6 cells and Calyculin A treated HSC-T6 cells were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 80435-8-RR (Phospho-JNK (Thr183) antibody) at dilution of 1:2000 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours. The membrane was stripped and re-blotted with GAPDH (60004-1-Ig) antibody as a loading control.

  WB analysis of HEK-293 using 80435-8-RR

  Non-treated HEK-293 cells and UV treated HEK-293 cells were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 80435-8-RR (Phospho-JNK (Thr183) antibody) at dilution of 1:2000 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours. The membrane was stripped and re-blotted with Lamin B1 (66095-1-Ig) antibody as a loading control.

Background Information

MAPK8(Mitogen-activated protein kinase 8) is also named as JNK1, PRKM8, SAPK1, SAPK1C and belongs to the MAP kinase subfamily. Phospho-JNK (Thr183) is the activated form of c-Jun N-terminal kinase (JNK), a MAPK family serine/threonine kinase. Phosphorylation at Thr183 (often with Tyr185) by MKK4/7 activates JNK, regulating cell apoptosis, proliferation and stress responses. (PMID: 40538844)
