Background
CD80, also known as B7, B7.1, or BB1, is a member of the immunoglobulin superfamily with a size of 44-54 kDa and is expressed by a variety of cells, including activated B cells, T cells, macrophages, dendritic cells, and tumor cells. CD80 plays a crucial role in T cell activation.
