  WB analysis using 81899-1-RR

  Various lysates were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 81899-1-RR (STX17 antibody) at dilution of 1:10000 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours.

• 

  IF Staining of HepG2 using 81899-1-RR

  Immunofluorescent analysis of (-20°C Methanol) fixed HepG2 cells using STX17 antibody (81899-1-RR, Clone: 4G3 ) at dilution of 1:400 and CoraLite®488-Conjugated AffiniPure Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L).

Background Information

SNAREs, soluble N-ethylmaleimide-sensitive factor-attachment protein receptors, are essential proteins for fusion of cellular membranes. Syntaxin 17 (STX17) is a SNARE of the autophagosome involved in autophagy through the direct control of autophagosome membrane fusion with the lysosome membrane. STX17 may also play a role in the early secretory pathway where it may maintain the architecture of the endoplasmic reticulum-Golgi intermediate compartment/ERGIC and Golgi and/or regulate transport between the endoplasmic reticulum, the ERGIC and the Golgi.
