  IF Staining of human placenta using 68464-1-Ig (same clone as 68464-1-PBS)

  Immunofluorescent analysis of (4% PFA) fixed paraffin-embedded human placenta tissue using TEAD3 antibody (68464-1-Ig, Clone: 2E6A12 ) at dilution of 1:400 and CoraLite®488-Conjugated Goat Anti-Mouse IgG(H+L) (SA00013-1). Heat mediated antigen retrieval with Tris-EDTA buffer (pH 9.0). This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 68464-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

Background Information

TEAD3, others named transcription enhancer factor 5(TEF5), is a member of the family of transcription factors that plays a key role in the Hippo signaling pathway, suggesting involvement in organ and tumor suppression by restricting proliferation and promoting. TEAD3 contains the TEA/ATTS DNA-binding domain. Human TEAD3 has a strong mRNA expression in the placenta and choriocarcinoma cells(JEG-3) but is low in Hela, HepG2, and MCF-7.
