FC experiment of Transfected CHO-K1 using 98677-3-RR (same clone as 98677-3-PBS)
1x10^6 CHO-K1(left) or TMEM119-transfected CHO-K1(right) were surface stained with 0.25 ug Anti-Human TMEM119 Rabbit RecAb (98677-3-RR, Clone:251557E2) and PE-conjugated Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG. Cells were not fixed. This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 98677-3-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.
FC experiment of SH-SY5Y using 98677-3-RR (same clone as 98677-3-PBS)
1x10^6 SH-SY5Y cells were stained with 0.25 ug Anti-Human TMEM119 Rabbit RecAb (98677-3-RR, Clone:251557E2) (red), or 0.25 ug Rabbit IgG Isotype Control RecAb (98136-1-RR, Clone: 240953C9) (blue) and PE-conjugated Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG. Cells were fixed and permeabilized with Intracellular Flow Cytometry Fixation & Permeabilization Buffer Kit (PF00019). This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 98677-3-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

Affinity of 98677-3-RR
Biolayer interferometry (BLl) kinetic assays of 98677-3-RR against Human TMEM119 were performed. The affinity constant is 6.55 nM.

Background Information

TMEM119 (Transmembrane Protein 119), also known as OBIF (Osteoblast Induction Factor), is a type I transmembrane protein that serves as a highly specific marker for resident microglia in the central nervous system (CNS). TMEM119 immunohistochemistry might provide a useful tool for investigating the biology and pathology of human microglia(PMID: 26250788).
