  WB analysis of SGC-7901 using 24201-1-AP (same clone as 24201-1-PBS)

  SGC-7901 cells were subjected to SDS PAGE followed by western blot with 24201-1-AP (WNT6 antibody) at dilution of 1:600 incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours. This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 24201-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

  Immunohistochemical analysis of paraffin-embedded mouse brain tissue slide using 24201-1-AP (WNT6 antibody) at dilution of 1:200 (under 10x lens). Background Information

WNT6 belongs to the Wnt family. It is ligand for members of the frizzled family of seven transmembrane receptors. WNT6 is likely to signal over only few cell diameters. WNT6 may be together with CAV1 to promote chemoresistance of gastric cancer cells to DNA-damaging anthracycline drugs through the activation of the canonical Wnt receptor signaling pathway. And WNT6 is mainly expressed in brain, endometrium epithelium, gastric cancer cell lines and gastric cancer tissues (PMID: 22370641).
