Background
Recombinant human Noggin protein is widely used in stem cell maintenance and directed differentiation, particularly in iPSC and embryonic stem cell systems where precise control of cell fate is essential. It also plays an important role in organoid differentiation, supporting the development of complex 3D tissue models. HumanKine Noggin is produced using a HEK293 expression system, ensuring a biologically active and structurally accurate form of the native human protein for consistent performance in demanding cell culture applications. Noggin is a secreted dimeric protein that functions as a high-affinity inhibitor of bone morphogenetic proteins (BMPs), blocking receptor interaction and downstream signaling. By suppressing BMP pathways, Noggin plays a critical role in neural differentiation, early developmental processes, and controlled pluripotent stem cell progression, supporting applications in regenerative medicine and advanced cell-based models.
