Background Information
ACTA2 (also known as α-smooth muscle actin or α-SMA) belongs to the actin family. Actins are highly conserved proteins that are involved in various types of cell motility and are ubiquitously expressed in all eukaryotic cells. ACTA2 is primarily expressed in vascular smooth muscle and anti-ACTA2 is commonly used to marker smooth muscle cells.

Reviews
What customers say
All three reviews rate the antibody 5 stars. Users report strong performance across multiple applications: immunohistochemistry on FFPE organs (liver, kidney, spleen, heart, lungs) with Tris-EDTA antigen retrieval, fluorescent immunohistochemistry on free-floating mouse brain sections at 1:500 dilution, confocal immunofluorescence at 1:200, and Western blot at 1:20,000 in 1X TBST. Overall, reviewers highlight reliable staining, clear signal, and versatility across tissue types and techniques.
