Background Information
The selective RNA-binding protein FMRP forms a messenger ribonucleoprotein complex that associates with polyribosomes, implicating in regulation of translation. FMR1 is a component of the CYFIP1-EIF4E-FMR1 complex which binds to and reperss the mRNA. It also has a role in the transport of mRNA from the nucleus to the cytoplasm. FMR1 exists several isforms and the molecular weight of FMR1 is about 59-72 kDa.

Reviews
What customers say
The reviewer (Lisa Pavinato, Oct 2021) rated this antibody 3 out of 5 stars after using it for Western Blot and Immunofluorescence on hiPSCs-derived neurons. She found it works quite well in WB, though the diluted aliquot could not be reused more than twice. However, she was not satisfied with the IF results, reporting very high background signal. Overall, the antibody performs adequately for WB but may require optimization for IF applications to reduce background.
The reviews below have been submitted by verified Proteintech customers who received an incentive for providing their feedback.
Lisa (Verified Customer) (10-19-2021) | The antibody works quite well in WB, even if it is not possible to reuse the same diluted aliquot more than twice. I was not really satisfied of the results in IF, as the signal had a very high background.
