  WB analysis of HeLa using 12213-1-AP (same clone as 12213-1-PBS)

  WB result of MARCH5 antibody (12213-1-AP; 1:300; incubated at room temperature for 1.5 hours) with sh-Control and sh-MARCH5 transfected HeLa cells. This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 12213-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

Background Information

MARCH5(E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase MARCH5) is a 31 kDa protein also named as RNF153. This protein plays a protective role against mitochondrial dysfunction caused by the mitochondrial accumulation of mSOD1 via the ubiquitin-proteasome pathway (PMID:19741096). And it may regulate MAP1B LC1 function in mitochondria by controlling mitochondrial aggregation via mitochondrial LC1 levels(PMID:22308378). MEARCH5 can exsit as a homodimer with MW 65-70 kDa.
