Background Information
PLAGL1 (Pleomorphic adenoma gene-like 1) is a crucial zinc-finger transcription factor acting as a tumor suppressor, regulating cell cycle, growth (apoptosis), and embryonic development, particularly involved in pancreatic function and imprinted expression (paternal allele).
