  FC experiment of A549 using 83431-1-RR (same clone as 83431-1-PBS)

  1x10^6 A549 cells were intracellularly stained with 0.25 ug Plk2 Recombinant Antibody (83431-1-RR, Clone:230520B2) and APC-Conjugated AffiniPure Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L)(red), or 0.25 ug Isotype Control (blue). Cells were fixed with 4% PFA and permeabilized with Flow Cytometry Perm Buffer. This data was developed using the same antibody clone with 83431-1-PBS in a different storage buffer formulation.

Background Information

PLK2(Polo-like kinase 2) is also named as SNK and belongs to the Ser/Thr protein kinase family. It plays a role in normal cell division. Plk2 expression is detected only in G1, and endogenous Plk2 is rapidly turned over. Therefore, the expression of the three mammalian Plks during the cell cycle resembles the successive transition of the cyclins, prompting speculation that Plks may reg-ulate the cell cycle in a manner analogous to that of Cdks(PMID:12972611).
