  IF Staining of THP-1 using 65187-1-Ig

  Immunofluorescent analysis of (4% PFA) fixed THP-1 cells using CD68 antibody (65187-1-Ig, Clone: Y1/82A ) at dilution of 1:400 and CoraLite647-conjugated F(ab')2 Fragment Donkey Anti-Mouse IgG (H+L), CoraLite® Plus 555 CD45 antibody (CL555-65109, Clone: HI30).

• 

  FC experiment of human PBMCs using 65187-1-Ig

  1X10^6 human PBMCs were intracellularly stained with 0.2 ug Anti-Human CD68 (65187-1-Ig, Clone:Y1/82A) and CoraLite®594-Conjugated AffiniPure Goat Anti-Mouse IgG(H+L) at dilution 1:1000 or unstained. Cells were fixed with 4% PFA and permeabilized with Flow Cytometry Perm Buffer (PF00011-C). Monocytes were gated.

Hintergrundinformationen

CD68 is a type I transmembrane glycoprotein that is highly expressed by human monocytes and tissue macrophages. It belongs to the lysosomal/endosomal-associated membrane glycoprotein (LAMP) family and primarily localizes to lysosomes and endosomes with a smaller fraction circulating to the cell surface. CD68 is also a member of the scavenger receptor family. It may play a role in phagocytic activities of tissue macrophages.
