Background Information
AZI2, also known as NAP1, is a TNF receptor (TNFR)-associated factor family member-associated NF-κB activator-binding kinase 1-binding protein that regulates the production of IFNs. It is an adapter protein which binds TBK1 and IKBKE playing a role in antiviral innate immunity. NAP1 is a kind of adapter protein which binds TBK1 and IKBKE playing a role in antiviral innate immunity. (PMID: 21931631)

Publications
What published studies show
The AZI2 Monoclonal antibody (2F1G5), catalog number 68326-1-Ig, has 1 citation. It was cited in Nature Communications in a study investigating how NAP1 (AZI2) regulates interferon induction by trapping TBK1 in condensates. The associated research field is innate immunity and interferon signaling, with the antibody used for immunofluorescence (IF) applications.

Reviews
What customers say
The single review rates the antibody 5 stars for Western Blot on HeLa cells at a 1:10,000 dilution. The user tested it in WT versus NAP1 knockout cells and observed two bands, one specific and one nonspecific. The reviewer noted the two bands are very close together and difficult to separate, though overall the antibody performed well for their application.
The reviews below have been submitted by verified Proteintech customers who received an incentive for providing their feedback.
Muhammed Talha (Verified Customer) (08-31-2023) | I tested this antibody in WT vs NAP1 KO cells. It gave me 2 bands. One of them is actual band and other one is nonspecific one I guess. They are very close to each other and hard to separate them unfortunately.
